IATA
Focuses on animals' safety and welfare
Animals have been transported by air since the early 1930's. In today's modern world, carriage of live animals by air is considered the most humane and expedient method of transportation over long distances.
IATA's Live Animals Regulations (LAR) is the worldwide standard for transporting live animals by commercial airlines. Whether it is a pet, an animal transported for zoological or agricultural purposes or for any other reason, the objective of the LAR is to ensure all animals are transported safely and humanely by air. The 45th edition of the regulations came into effect on 1 January 2019.

The International represents, supports, informs and connects every element of the global air freight supply chain.
The OIE is the intergovernmental organisation responsible for improving animal health worldwide.
The need to fight animal diseases at global level led to the creation of the Office International des Epizooties through the international Agreement signed on January 25th 1924. In May 2003 the Office became the World Organisation for Animal Health but kept its historical acronym OIE.
It is recognised as a reference organisation by the World Trade Organization (WTO) and in 2018 has a total of 182 Member Countries. The OIE maintains permanent relations with nearly 75 other international and regional organisations and has Regional and sub-regional Offices on every continent.
AALAS
Is a membership association of professionals employed around the world in academia, government, and private industry who are dedicated to the humane care and treatment of laboratory animals, as well as the quality research that leads to scientific gains that benefit people and animals.
ALACAT
Is the Federation of National Associations of Cargo Agencies and International Logistics Operators of Latin America and the Caribbean. Conceived with the intention of achieving objectives and purposes such as; the hierarchy of the activities of the Cargo Agents and the international logistic operators, the defense of the rights and interests of its associates in the framework of the strictest business ethics and strict compliance with the legislation in force.
